System Sensor SPWL is a white L-Series indoor wall speaker, dual voltage (25 or 70.7 Vrms), speaker only with no strobe.
Voice evacuation and tone systems need a speaker at wall positions a horn would otherwise occupy. The SPWL is that speaker on its own, for locations already covered by a separate strobe or where no visible signal is required. Voltage and power tap are set with rotary switches on the unit, so one part number covers every tap an installer might need.
- Dual voltage transformer speaker, 25.0 or 70.7 nominal Vrms by rotary switch
- Power taps of 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 watts, also rotary selected
- Rated 79, 82, 85 and 88 dBA at ten feet across those four taps
- Frequency range 400 to 4000 Hz; 520 Hz square wave capable with a compatible panel
- Listed to UL 1480; maximum supervisory voltage 50 VDC
- 6.5 by 5 by 0.97 inches, on a 4 by 4 by 2-1/8 inch box with the universal mounting plate
- 32°F to 120°F indoors, 10 to 93 percent RH non-condensing
SPRL is the same speaker in red and SPCWL is the ceiling version. SPSWL and SPSRL add a strobe, and SPSWLED and SPSRLED are the LED strobe models.

FAQ
How do I set the voltage and wattage?
With the rotary switches on the speaker: 25.0 or 70.7 Vrms nominal, and 1/4, 1/2, 1 or 2 W taps.
Does the SPWL include a strobe?
No. It is a speaker only. Use an SPSWL or SPSWLED where a visible signal is also needed.
