Call Points

Manual call points let an occupant raise the alarm by hand. Break-glass and resettable versions cover most installations, in conventional and addressable form, with weatherproof and hazardous-area variants available.

Placement is code-driven: on exit routes, at final exits and at storey exits, within a maximum travel distance, at a specified mounting height. Resettable elements avoid replacing glass after every test, which matters on a large system. Where accidental operation is a concern — schools, public corridors — a protective cover reduces false alarms without impeding legitimate use.
