Gamewell-FCI AOM-2RF — Velociti Series® addressable output relay control module that lets a Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panel switch discrete relay contacts by code command.
The AOM-2RF installs on the signaling line circuit of any Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panel and provides two isolated sets of Form-C contacts that transfer simultaneously — the module for door holders, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall interfaces, damper control and similar auxiliary functions. Address is set with visual rotary decimal switches (01–159), and a panel-controlled bi-color LED flashes green whenever the module is addressed and lights steady red on activation. Because the Velociti protocol polls devices in groups and breaks off to concentrate on any device that changes state, response speed is up to five times greater than earlier designs. The module is sized to mount in a standard 4 in. square junction box 2 1/8 in. deep.

Installation notes

Contacts are not supervised: circuit connections to the relay contacts are not supervised by the module. Where a supervised output is required by the application, a supervised control module is the correct device instead.

Both contacts transfer together: the two Form-C sets are isolated from each other but transfer simultaneously on command — they cannot be commanded independently, so a job needing two independent outputs needs two addresses.

LED behavior by panel: in panels that do not operate in Velociti mode only the red LED is operative, and the bi-color LED functionality is not available on the GWF-7075 panel.

Coded vs. non-coded ratings differ: the contact rating drops for coded operation (2 A vs. 3 A resistive at 30 VDC) — size the load against the correct row of the contact rating table.

Environment: rated 32°F to 120°F, but the data sheet recommends installing the system and its peripherals in a normal room temperature of 60–80°F (15–27°C) to protect the useful life of the electronics.
