Gamewell-FCI AMM-2IF — Velociti® Series addressable dual monitor module providing two Style B, Class B initiating device circuits, each with an end-of-line resistor.
The AMM-2IF supplies an address for any device or group of devices connected to each of its two circuits, letting a pair of conventional contact zones report to an addressable panel as separate identified points from one compact module. Any alarm initiating device with normally open dry contacts may be installed — heat detectors, 4-wire projected beam smoke detectors, 4-wire smoke detectors, water flow switches, tamper switches, manual stations and similar devices. The first circuit address is set with a rotary switch and the second circuit is automatically assigned the next higher address, so the module consumes two consecutive addresses. Each initiating device circuit supports up to 40 ohms of line resistance, which allows the use of linear heat detection devices. The module installs on the signaling line circuit of any Gamewell-FCI addressable control panel and mounts in a 4 in. square junction box 2 1/8 in. deep.

Installation notes

Two consecutive addresses: only the first circuit is set by the rotary switch; the second circuit automatically takes the next higher address. Leave that address free when laying out the loop.

Class B only: both circuits are Style B / Class B. Where a Style D / Class A initiating circuit is required, use the AMM-4F.

End-of-line resistors: each circuit requires its 47K ohm end-of-line resistor for supervision.

Line resistance budget: 40 ohms per circuit, which is what permits linear heat detection devices on this module.

Single LED: the module has one panel-controlled red LED; only the red LED is operative in panels that do not operate in Velociti mode.
