Gamewell-FCI AMM-4F — Velociti Series® addressable monitor module with a single Style D, Class A initiating device circuit, which may also be configured as Style B, Class B with an end-of-line resistor.
The AMM-4F gives one address to any device or group of devices connected to its initiating circuit, so conventional contact devices report to an addressable panel as identified points. Any alarm initiating device with normally open dry contacts can be wired to it — heat detectors, linear heat detection cable, 4-wire projected beam smoke detectors, 4-wire smoke detectors, water flow switches, tamper switches, manual stations and the like. The circuit tolerates up to 40 ohms of line resistance, which allows initiating devices to sit at a distance from the module and supports linear heat detection runs. Address is set with visual rotary decimal switches (01–159), and bi-color LEDs flash green when the module is addressed and light steady red on alarm. The module installs on the signaling line circuit of any Gamewell-FCI analog addressable control panel and mounts in a 4 in. square junction box 2 1/8 in. deep.

Installation notes

One circuit, one address: the AMM-4F monitors a single initiating device circuit. Two independently addressed Class B circuits in one module is the AMM-2IF instead.

Class A capability is the differentiator: this is the module to use where a Style D / Class A initiating circuit is specified; it can still be wired Style B / Class B with the 47K ohm end-of-line resistor.

Line resistance budget: 40 ohms maximum — the allowance that makes linear heat detection cable and remote device groups practical on this module.

Dry contacts only: the circuit accepts normally open dry contact initiating devices. It is not a substitute for a powered 2-wire detector circuit.

LED behavior by panel: only the red LED is operative in panels that do not operate in Velociti mode.

Box depth: the module needs a 4 in. square box 2 1/8 in. deep — shallower boxes will not accept it.
