Yuasa NP7-12 — 12 volt, 7.0 Ah valve regulated lead-acid battery with absorbed glass mat construction and Faston .187 in. (F1) terminals.
This is the standby cell inside fire panels, emergency lighting and small uninterruptible supplies, held on float charge for years and asked to deliver only when mains power fails. The glass mat holds the electrolyte in the separator rather than as free liquid, so the battery is non-spillable and can be mounted in any orientation.
- Capacity 7.0 Ah at the 20-hour rate to 1.75 volts per cell at 25°C
- Case material UL94HB; the flame-retardant UL94V-0 case is a separate order number
- 151.0 mm (5.94") long × 65.0 mm (2.56") wide, 94.0 mm (3.70") case height
- Weight 2.20 kg (4.85 lbs); internal resistance about 22 mΩ
- Float charge 2.275 volts per cell at 25°C; maximum charge current 1.750 A
- UL recognized component to UL1989; non-spillable per DOT and IATA
The order numbers differ by case and terminal, not by capacity: NP7-12FR is the same battery in the flame-retardant UL94V-0 case, NP7-12-250 swaps to the Faston .250 in. (F2) terminal, and NP7-12-250FR combines both. Confirm the terminal width and case requirement before ordering.
