VESDA VSP-COT-KIT — Xtralis Clean Out Tee Kit for 3/4" CPVC aspirating smoke detection sampling pipe.
An ASD pipe network collects dust in service and codes call for routine test and inspection. Fitted at the detector inlet as the first connection into the pipe network, the tee gives one fixed, reachable place to clear the pipes: close the ball valve to isolate the detector, remove the brass plug, and put a vacuum or air tool on the port.
- Contains one CPVC tee with a 1/4" threaded inlet, one 1/4" brass plug in it, one 3/4" ball valve
- Standard 3/4" CPVC pipe interface
- Ball valve protects the detector from backflow; normally open in service
- Tee plug orifice nominal 1/4" (6.25 mm)
- Xtralis places the tee no higher than 6 ft. above finished floor
- Valve reopened and plug refitted after cleaning
This is a maintenance access fitting: it takes no measurement, raises no signal, and is not a test kit, a filter or a detector. Sized for 3/4" CPVC, it is not a fitting for the 6 mm and 4 mm VESDA-E VEA microbore tubes, nor an in-line filter like VSP-850-G.
