System Sensor PC2WL — L-Series ceiling-mount horn strobe, two-wire, white housing lettered FIRE, catalogued for bulk ordering as PC2WL-BP10.
The L-Series put a xenon strobe and a multi-tone horn in one plug-in appliance seated on a universal mounting plate. The plate takes the field wiring and carries a shorting spring, so continuity can be proved before the appliance is fitted.
- Ceiling candela field-selectable at 15, 30, 75, 95, 115, 150 and 177 cd
- Automatic 12 or 24 volt selection, available at the 15 and 30 cd settings only
- 8 to 17.5 V at 12 V nominal, 16 to 33 V at 24 V nominal, regulated DC or full-wave rectified
- Eight switch-selected horn patterns rated 82 to 90 dBA at 16 to 33 V
- UL maximum current 71 mA at 15 cd to 254 mA at 177 cd, temporal high on 24 V DC
- Xenon flash tube at 1 Hz, UL 1971 and UL 464; 6.83 in. diameter
PC2RL is the same ceiling appliance in red and PC4WL the four-wire white version; SCWL is the ceiling strobe with no horn; P2WL is the wall model. PC2WLED is the separate LED-strobe number that bulletin M23.2SS names as successor to this model.
