Simplex 4098-9773 — TrueAlarm addressable carbon monoxide sensor base with a 520 Hz low-frequency sounder, for flush ceiling mounting on an IDNet channel.
It is a base, not a finished detector: an interchangeable TrueAlarm head is ordered separately and decides what the assembly senses for fire. Head and cartridge share one IDNet address, and the panel can weigh CO against photoelectric data to reject steam and dust or to react sooner to a real fire.

- Sounder needs separate 24 VDC or NAC power, 16 to 32 VDC, 129 mA at 16 V on the 520 Hz signal
- 520 Hz output at 10 ft is 85.5 dBA as in UL 268 and CSA 6.19-01, and 79.5 dBA as in UL 464
- Flush mount only, on a 4 in. octagonal or square box 1-1/2 in. deep or a single-gang box 2-1/8 in. deep; a square box needs adapter plate 4098-9863
The near sibling 4098-9772 is the same 520 Hz sounder base with no CO sensing. Cartridge 4098-9747 is field replaceable. Frost white housing.
