Simplex 742-351 — replacement service part for the Power Distribution Interface, the board carrying power and communications across the back of a 4100U or 4100ES expansion or remote bay.
PDI stands for Power Distribution Interface. It is not the system power supply and not the power distribution module. One is fitted to the back of every expansion and remote bay, and it solves the interconnection problem created by the small slave cards those bays use.
