Simplex 49AVC-CWFIRE — white ceiling cover marked FIRE for TrueAlert ES audible/visible appliances.
Simplex ships the ceiling-mount A/V appliance as the appliance only and prints the cover as a separate, required order line, so a 49AV-APPLC arrives unfinished without one. The cover carries the lens and the application wording, and it comes away without disturbing the connected housing, so the application can be changed on site, or a damaged cover replaced, without raising a trouble condition. Removing it also gives access to the electrical test points.
- Simplex cover table: 49AVC-CWFIRE, colour White, wording FIRE
- For ceiling mount TrueAlert ES A/V appliances, model series 49AV
- Listed as required when ordering model 49AV-APPLC and 49AV-APPLC-BA
- Appliance dimensions with cover: 8-1/8"H × 7-1/8"W × 3"D (206 × 180 × 76 mm)
Simplex does not name these covers consistently across the family, so read the suffix carefully: 49AVC-CWALT is the same white cover lettered ALERT, 49AVC-CRFIRE is the red FIRE version, and the strobe-only ceiling cover that Simplex also prints as white/FIRE is 49VOC-CWF.
