Simplex 4100-6103 — Dual Class A IDNAC Isolator (DCAI) module for 4100ES fire control units, turning one Class B IDNAC SLC input into two isolated Class A outputs.
IDNAC is the addressable notification loop carrying TrueAlert ES and TrueAlert appliances. Where a design calls for Class A return-path wiring on it, the DCAI takes the Class B input and produces two Class A circuits, each isolated from the other.
- Converts a single Class B IDNAC SLC input to two Class A SLC outputs
- Short circuit isolation between each Class A output circuit
- Each isolated output SLC in use takes one IDNAC address and supports up to 30 device addresses
- Total current stays controlled by the Class B source SLC at 3 A maximum
- One block space; 8.3 mA supervisory, 18.5 mA alarm
- Up to two for each IDNAC SLC input, up to six for each ES-PS power supply
It is not the card that creates the IDNAC loops: that is the 4100-5451 IDNAC Addressable Notification SLC Module. Nor is it 4905-9929, which isolates appliance wiring out on the loop, or 4090-9122, the IDNet Isolator2, serving IDNet detection rather than IDNAC notification.
