Simplex 4100-1327 — Flex-50 digital audio amplifier for 4100ES voice systems, 50 W at 70.7 VRMS.
A 4100ES digital audio system carries up to eight channels over one wire pair, and this card turns one or two of them into speaker power through an onboard decoder. A self-backup design reroutes a disabled channel to the other at the full 50 W, so no backup amplifier is needed.
- 50 W total at 70.7 VRMS; NAC rating 0.707 A, 100 speakers maximum
- Three onboard Class B audio NACs, each rated 2 A, routable to either channel
- Channels split as 0 and 50 W, 25 and 25 W, 10 and 40 W, or any total to 50 W
- 19 to 35 VDC from an adjacent ES-PS; supervisory 425 mA, or 85 mA in low power mode
- Alarm 5.55 A on continuous horn tone; 2.27 A average on temporal, for battery sizing
- Two expansion bay blocks, C and D or E and F, two Flex units per bay
The 25 VRMS twin is 4100-1326, and only one output voltage is allowed per system; 4100-1312 and 4100-1313 are the analog input Flex-50s. It needs a 4100-1311 digital controller and an expansion bay, and an ES-PS powering a Flex amplifier gives up its battery charger.
