Simplex 4100-1290 — 24-Point Graphic I/O Module for 4100U and 4100ES back boxes.
This is the card behind a custom graphic annunciator. Each point is independently a switch input or a lamp/LED/relay driver output, so one module can read hand-off-auto switches and drive the graphic's indicators at once. Point direction is set by the drive resistor: it ships with 2 kΩ resistors in all 24 positions, making every point an input, and the supplied 20 Ω resistors convert a point to an output.
- Inputs unsupervised, supervised for opens, supervised for opens and shorts, or HOA
- Outputs on steady, slow pulse or fast pulse
- 24 VDC and 8 VDC from the control unit (19–33 VDC)
- Standby 55 mA at 8 VDC and 50 mA at 24 VDC, plus switch loads
- Alarm 75 mA plus connected lamp/LED/relay and switch currents
- Mount within 3,000 ft (914 m) of an RUI card
Check the cabinet first: the 4100-1290 is the version for 4100U/4100ES back boxes (2975-94xx), while a legacy 4100 box (2975-91xx) takes the 4100/4120-0302 instead.
