Simplex 4100-1240 — Auxiliary Audio Input Module that adds four unsupervised audio inputs to a 4100ES or 4100U emergency voice system.
The audio controller handles the master and remote microphones on its own, but a building often needs more sources: background music, a house paging amplifier, a mass notification feed or extra microphones. This card is the expansion path, and with two fitted a system supports up to six microphones and eleven distinct audio inputs.

Do not confuse it with 4100-1241 and 4100-1242, the 8-minute and 32-minute message memory expansions that mount on the audio controller, or with 4100-1243 and 4100-1244, the master and remote microphone modules. This card adds inputs only.
