Simplex 4100-0650 — battery shelf for Simplex 4100ES and 4100U enclosures, required when 50 Ah standby batteries are installed.
Simplex 4100 boxes are built with a battery bay at the bottom of the one, two or three bay enclosure. Smaller sealed lead-acid sets sit in that bay unaided, but the 50 Ah size is called out by Simplex as needing a dedicated shelf. It is listed as a battery accessory and ordered separately from the box and door.

Do not confuse it with 4100-5128, the battery distribution terminal block listed directly beneath it in the same table, which is a wiring block rather than a shelf. The shelf is also not used with the 6.2, 10, 12.7, 18, 25 or 33 Ah battery selections, which mount without it.
