Simplex 4090-9010 — 8 A Relay IAM (Individual Addressable Module), IDNet.
The 4090-9010 lets a Simplex fire alarm control panel operate a remotely located dry contact over the IDNet addressable loop. Both data and module power come from IDNet, so no separate power run is needed to the device — which is usually the reason this module is chosen over a locally powered relay.
It provides separate normally open and normally closed contacts rated to 250 VAC or 30 VDC, 8 A resistive and 3.5 A inductive at 0.35 PF, and occupies one address on the loop. Typical applications are elevator capture and recall, and shutdown or control of HVAC equipment, pressurization fans and dampers.
Dimensions are 4-1/8 in. H x 4 in. W x 1-3/8 in. D (105 x 102 x 35 mm). Rated for indoor use from 32° to 120°F (0° to 49°C) up to 93% RH at 100°F. UL, ULC and CSFM listed, FM approved.
