Simplex 4009-9602 — 4009 IDNAC Repeater in a red cabinet, for extending TrueAlert ES / TrueAlert notification circuits.
An IDNAC SLC runs out of current and wire distance long before it runs out of addresses. The Repeater takes an IDNAC SLC input and regenerates it as a fresh 3 A output held at 29 VDC on both AC and battery, so strobes at the end of the run still see full alarm voltage. Appliance control stays with the host panel; the Repeater uses one IDNAC address and four unit loads.

- Batteries: 12.7 Ah in cabinet; 25 Ah with 4009-9801 cabinet
- Listed to UL 864 and ULC S527
4009-9601 and 4009-9602 are the same repeater with the same cabinet and 120/240 VAC auto-select input. The only difference is cabinet color — 9602 red, 9601 platinum. Class A output needs the 4009-9814 Adapter, not included.
