Simplex 2099-9754 — single action, non-coded, non-addressable manual pull station for general alarm service.
A firm downward pull operates the alarm switch and breaks an internal plastic break-rod below the lever; the lever then latches and stays extended as a visible indication. In the 2099 table this is the base general-alarm model, with no pre-signal, annunciator contacts or cover option.

Semi-flush mounting uses a standard single gang 2 1/5 in. deep box, which must not be recessed. The 2099-9755 adds a local alarm cover and the 2099-9762 an institutional cover; the 2099-9756 is the double action push version.
