Simplex 2084-9014 — red pluggable firefighter telephone handset with a 5 ft coiled cord.
Firefighter telephone systems give responding crews a wired path for two-way communication where radio is unreliable. The 9014 is the handset itself, not a station: it is stored at the control panel area and carried to a remote phone jack on the floor of operation.

The 2084-9024 is the same phone with a large push-to-talk switch inside the handle that mutes the transmitter until pressed; it holds UL, ULC, CSFM and MEA acceptance but is not FM approved. If the spec calls for push-to-talk, order the 9024 — the 9014 has no PTT switch.
