Siemens ST-50 — 5 ft notched steel sampling tube (P/N 500-649712) for Siemens air duct monitoring housings.
A duct housing only samples the air its inlet tube reaches, so the tube is matched to duct width rather than cut to taste. Each ST length is drilled with a different number and size of intake holes, and Siemens states that only the specific tube for the duct width may be used. The ST-50 is the size for ducts 3.0 ft to 5.0 ft wide on FDBZ492, -R, -HR and -PR housings.

Sampling tubes are ordered separately from the housing. The red inlet stopper and the short outlet tube ship in the housing installation kit, not with this tube. For a non-standard duct, order the next longest tube and cut it down — never fit a shorter one.
