Siemens HTRI-D (500-033360) — addressable dual-input intelligent interface module that supervises and monitors two sets of dry contacts while occupying only one address on the loop.
The HTRI-D interfaces normally open or normally closed dry contacts to a Siemens addressable fire alarm control panel and reports their status back to the panel. It takes a single address but responds independently to each input, and its LED flashes twice — once for each address — which makes it the natural choice for monitoring a water-flow switch together with its associated valve tamper switch on one device. Each module contains a microcomputer chip that stores identification information and operating-status data, and it is dynamically supervised by the panel. Wiring is two-wire and polarity insensitive via SureWire technology, with screw terminals and the programming port reachable from the front without removing the module. A multi-color LED shows green in normal operation, amber in trouble, and red on a change of state. The module ships with a 5-inch square plastic faceplate.

Installation notes
-
One address, two inputs: the HTRI-D reports each input independently, so a flow switch and its tamper switch can share a device without losing separate annunciation. That is the usual reason to specify the -D over two HTRI-S modules.
-
No relay on this module: if the application needs to control or shunt external equipment, the HTRI-R with its Form C relay is the correct part — the HTRI-D monitors only.
-
Address before installation: the DPU (500-033260) sets and verifies the address and tests the module. Because the address lives in non-volatile memory rather than in mechanical switches, vibration and corrosion cannot shift it.
-
Box depth matters: the module needs a 4-inch square box 2-1/4 in. deep, or a double-gang box. A shallow ring is the common site problem.
-
Marine installations: the plastic faceplate must be replaced with the metal USCG-HPLATE cover (S54319-F22-A1), which is what protects the module from radio-frequency interference. It is ordered separately.
-
Mixed loops: fully compatible on the same Siemens FACP loop as H-series intelligent detectors, HMS-series addressable manual stations, and other addressable modules such as HZM and HCP.
