Resideo HZ322/U — TrueZONE zone panel controlling two or three forced-air HVAC zones with damper and equipment staging.
This is an HVAC zoning control, not a fire alarm annunciator. It sits between the zone thermostats and the air handler, driving two-wire or three-wire dampers with open or closed logic and staging the equipment. Setup runs from an onboard digital display.
- Conventional gas, oil or electric forced-air systems up to 2 stages heat and 2 stages cool
- Heat pump systems with a single stage compressor and auxiliary heat
- 2 or 3 zones, wired thermostats or wireless through the optional THM4000R1000 adaptor
- 18 to 30 VAC 50/60 Hz from a transformer of 40 VA or more; the panel draws 7.5 VA maximum
- Maximum damper load 28.8 VA per zone at 100°F and 16.8 VA per zone at 160°F
- 11-1/2 × 8 × 1-55/64 in. (292 × 203 × 47 mm)
RedLINK is not built in: a THM4000R1000 wireless adaptor is required for RedLINK thermostats, and one adaptor serves up to three of them here. The bare HZ322 is the panel alone; the HZ322K kit adds the AT140A1042 transformer and the C7735A1000 discharge air sensor.
