Kidde WG4WF-SVMHC — Genesis WG4 outdoor-rated speaker strobe, white housing, FIRE marking, high-candela strobe.
Where voice evacuation must reach a wet or harsh space such as a parking deck or process area, this appliance puts a mylar-cone loudspeaker and a multi-candela strobe in one low-profile sealed body. Both the wattage tap and the candela step are set in the field.
- Speaker taps 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 W, switch-selectable 25 or 70 VRMS, default 70 VRMS
- Per UL 1480 at 10 ft on 25 V: 80.8, 84.0, 87.1 and 90.0 dBA across those taps
- Speaker response 400 to 4,000 Hz; supervisory voltage 30 V maximum
- Clear-lens high-output strobe: 102, 123, 147 and 161 cd indoor per UL 1971
- Outdoor per UL 1638: 41, 50, 60 and 65 cd at the same four switch positions
- Strobe supply 24 VDC or VFWR nominal; 12 to 18 AWG; -31 to 151 °F
The near-miss is WG4WF-SVMC, the same white FIRE-marked body with the standard strobe of 15, 29, 70 and 87 cd; WG4WF-S is speaker only. WG4RF-SVMHC is red, WG4WN-SVMHC unmarked. Do not carry figures over from the horn strobe WG4WF-HVMHC: same candela set, different appliance.
