The ASD-PL3 transmits an analog representation of smoke density to the fire alarm control panel, allowing continuous monitoring and early detection of fire conditions. This intelligent communication improves system response while helping reduce nuisance alarms.
Equipped with rotary decimal address switches, the sensor supports addressing from 01 to 159, allowing precise device identification for easier maintenance and troubleshooting. Dual bi-color LEDs provide clear status indication, flashing green during normal operation and turning solid red during alarm conditions.
The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL3 also features a built in functional test switch activated by an external magnet, making testing fast and efficient. Optional relay, isolator, and sounder bases provide additional installation flexibility.
