Ansul 436494 is the SENTRY model PK10S, a 10 lb stored-pressure hand portable extinguisher charged with Purple-K dry chemical and UL/ULC rated 80-B:C. Purple-K is a potassium bicarbonate-based agent that Ansul describes as its most effective dry chemical for knocking down Class B fires. It has no Class A rating; where ordinary combustibles are present, the ABC model AA10S (436500) in the same shell is rated 4-A:80-B:C.
