ModuLaser aspirating smoke detection draws air samples through a pipe network back to a central laser-based detector, rather than waiting for smoke to reach a ceiling device.

The approach suits spaces where early warning matters or where spot detection is impractical: data centres and switch rooms, cold stores and freezers, high ceilings and atria, dusty industrial spaces, and heritage buildings where visible devices are unwelcome. Because sampling points can be concealed and reached from an accessible detector location, maintenance does not require access to the ceiling.

Design is by pipe layout and sampling-point count, calculated for the protected volume and airflow.
