Xtralis VPS-250-E5 is a Style E power supply unit rated 3 A at 24 V DC with charging capacity for batteries up to 38 Ah, styled to match Xtralis VESDA aspirating smoke detectors. Xtralis positions it for larger loads such as the VESDA-E VEU at all fan speeds and the VESDA-E VEA, or several detectors and remote displays. It has four separately fused outputs so disparate loads can be split.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Mains input is 230 VAC only; check the site supply before ordering.
- The listed approvals are European (VdS, CE, EN 54-4); the data sheet states no UL or ULC listing.
- Can run on batteries alone, which helps commissioning before mains is available; it performs battery impedance checks and disconnects the load after prolonged mains failure to protect the batteries.
- DIP switches set battery monitoring, reduced charge current (non EN 54-4 installations only), battery fault threshold and mains-fail simulation.
- Batteries are not included.
