Simplex 49AO-WRF — TrueAlert ES addressable A/O (audible only) electronic horn, wall mount, red cover with FIRE lettering.
An audible appliance with no strobe. Power, supervision and control come from a Simplex IDNAC signaling line circuit, so the panel addresses each horn individually and selects Temporal Code 3, Temporal Code 4, March Time at 20, 60 or 120 bpm, or continuous output.
- Listed to UL 464 and ULC S525
- 23 to 31 VDC Special Application; 17 VDC minimum on legacy TrueAlert controllers
- 23 mA maximum at 31 VDC; 1 unit load, equal to 0.8 mA of panel current
- At 10 ft. and 23 VDC: 89.8/83.4 dBA reverberant per UL 464, 92.5/86.7 dBA anechoic per ULC S525
- 2400 to 3700 Hz sweep modulated at 120 Hz; 32 to 122 °F
- 5-1/8 × 5 × 1-1/2 in. with cover; includes cover and matching mounting plate
It ships complete, unlike 49AO-APPLW, the same horn supplied bare, which needs a 49AOC cover and a 49MP mounting plate ordered separately. 49AO-WWF is white and 49AO-WRQ carries FEU. Easiest to confuse with 49AV-WRF, one character away, which adds a multi-candela strobe.
