Simplex 4090-9002 IAM Relay IDNET
The Simplex 4090-9002 is a compact Relay Individual Addressable Module (IAM) designed to deliver precise auxiliary control via an addressable IDNet communications channel. Providing a single Form C (SPDT) dry contact output, it enables compatible Simplex fire alarm control panels to automate critical emergency functions—such as HVAC shutdown, elevator capture, damper operation, and fan control. Because it draws both data and operating power directly from the IDNet loop, installation wiring is significantly streamlined. Built to fit standard 4-inch square electrical boxes, the sealed module features an integrated status LED for fast diagnostics, reports real-time relay state to the panel, and automatically defaults to an OFF state during power loss or communication failure for fail-safe reliability.
