RSG DH1224FPC — semi-flush electromagnetic fire door holder, 12 or 24 V dual voltage, powdercoated chrome.
A door holder is normally energized so its magnet holds a door open; when the panel drops power the magnet releases and the door closes to limit smoke spread. The number reads DH door holder, 1224 operating voltages, F semi-flush mount with a partially recessed magnet, P powdercoated, C chrome. An internal full wave rectifier lets one unit run on AC or DC.
- 12 V: 40 mA DC or 38 mA AC on terminals C and L
- 24 V: 40 mA DC or 36 mA AC on terminals C and H
- Rated holding force 30 lbs (13.6 kg) at either rated voltage
- High holding force option: 24 V on the C and L terminals draws 85 mA DC and holds 75 lbs (34 kg)
- Die-cast metal body, self-adjusting swivel catch plate, low residual magnetism
- Three position terminal block, 22 to 12 AWG; needs a single gang box 1-1/2" deep minimum
- UL listed to Standard 228
Read the mounting letter: S is surface mount with its own box, R the fully recessed flush magnet, G floor mount. Dropping the P gives high luster plating, and DH24120FPC is the 24 or 120 V unit.
