Gentex GEC3-24WR horn strobe: 24 VDC, selectable candela, red faceplate
The Gentex GEC3-24WR is a Commander3 Series low-profile horn/strobe for 24 VDC fire alarm systems, with a red faceplate and wall mounting. The Commander3 Series offers dependable audible and visual alarms with very low current draw.

- 24 VDC with tamperproof field-selectable candela: 15, 30, 60, 75 and 110 cd
- Horn tones set by switch: 2400 Hz, mechanical, chime and whoop; continuous or temporal 3 (not available on whoop)
- High or low dBA selection by switch
- Super-Slide bracket for easy supervision testing; the standard 4 in. metal mounting plate has a locking mechanism so no screws show
- Checkmate instant voltage verification, so the installer can check voltage drop against the blueprint
- Synchronize strobe and/or horn with the Gentex AVSM control module; the audible can be silenced while the strobe keeps flashing
- Surface mount with the GSB (Gentex surface mount box)
- Input terminals accept 12 to 18 AWG

Compatibility
The GEC3-24WR is the red-faceplate 24 VDC horn/strobe. The white-faceplate version is the GEC3-24WW, and the strobe-only version is the GES3-24WR. For 12 VDC systems, see the GEC3-12WR.
