Fire-Lite SD365 is a white, low-profile intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke detector for Fire-Lite addressable fire alarm control panels. It operates in LiteSpeed protocol only and is addressed with rotary decimal switches. The SD365 Series is a direct replacement for the SD355 Series.
An enhanced optical sensing chamber detects smoke from a wide range of combustion sources and is designed to meet UL 268 7th Edition. Point ID addressing gives responders the exact detector location. Two LEDs blink when the panel polls the unit and latch on in alarm. The cover and insect-resistant screen come off for field cleaning, and a built-in functional test switch is operated with an external magnet. Sensitivity can be tested from the panel as required by NFPA 72.

Compatibility

LiteSpeed only: the white SD365 is not the correct part if the loop must run CLIP. The ivory version, SD365-IV, operates in both CLIP and LiteSpeed modes.

Replaces SD355: the SD365 is a direct replacement for the SD355 Series, and the separate base allows interchange of photoelectric, ionization and thermal sensors.

No end-of-line resistors: the SLC loop is supervised. T-taps are permitted for Style 4 (Class B) wiring only.

Bases: B300-6 (6″) and B501 (4″); relay, isolator and sounder bases are also available. See installation sheet I56-3626 for device limits between isolator modules and isolator bases.
