The Protectowire CTIC kit is a male/female connector pair used to splice CTI (Confirmed Temperature Initiation) linear heat detector cable. Each connector is molded in one piece with channels for the conductors and screw connections, so no separate terminal cap or fasteners are needed. Correct polarity must be maintained through the splice.
