Gamewell-FCI MS-7AF — Velociti® Series addressable double action manual fire alarm pull station for the signaling line circuit of Gamewell-FCI analog addressable control panels.
Activating the MS-7AF registers its assigned address at the fire alarm control panel, so the operator sees the exact station that was pulled rather than a zone. The door carries an LED that flashes green in normal condition and lights steady red once the station has been activated, and the station uses screw terminals for field wiring. Double action means the user must perform two distinct motions (lift or push the cover, then pull), which reduces malicious activations in schools, dormitories and public corridors. Like the rest of the MS-7 Series, it meets the Americans with Disabilities Act 5-lb. maximum pull force requirement, has operating instructions and Braille text engraved in the handle, and includes a key lock/reset keyed alike with Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panels and other MS-7 stations. The molded Lexan® housing is shock and vibration resistant and mounts surface or semi-flush.

Installation notes

Double action, not single: the MS-7AF is the double action addressable station. The single action addressable equivalent is the MS-7ASF — the two are not interchangeable when a specification calls out one or the other.

Addressable panels only: the data sheet marks the MS-7AF and MS-7ASF for use with Gamewell-FCI analog addressable control panels only. Conventional panels take the MS-7 (double action) or MS-7S (single action) instead.

LED behavior by panel: only the red LED is operative in panels that do not operate in Velociti mode.

Mounting: surface or semi-flush on a standard double-gang or 4-inch (10.2 cm) square electrical box; the BG12TR trim ring is optional for semi-flush, and the SB-10 surface backbox is available for surface mounting.

Indoor use: the MS-7AF is rated 32°F to 120°F. Outdoor listing in this series belongs to the MS-7LOB (-30°F to 150°F), which must be mounted on an SB-I/O backbox.

Keying: the tumbler lock for test and reset is keyed alike with Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm controls and other MS-7 stations.
