BRK SMI105-AC — 120 V AC hardwired ionization smoke alarm, catalogue 1046850, with a factory-locked 10-year lithium battery backup.

Ionization sensing responds fastest to the small particles of a fast flaming fire. The backup cell is sealed in a locked drawer and is not meant to be changed: at the low-battery or end-of-life signal the whole alarm is replaced.

Dual ionization sensing chamber, self-restoring, with a test button that stimulates the chamber
120 V AC 60 Hz at 0.05 A, with a 9 V lithium cell locked in the drawer
Piezo horn rated 85 dB at 10 ft; latching indicator marks which unit initiated
Interconnects up to 18 First Alert or BRK smoke, CO and heat alarms, at most 12 of them smoke alarms
Operating range 40°F to 100°F and 10% to 95% relative humidity
Certified to UL 217; meets CSFM, NFPA 72, NFPA 101 and ICC requirements

Do not confuse it with the SM300-AC, which adds a photoelectric chamber and runs on replaceable AA cells. The same interconnect list carries the SMI100-AC, the SMICO100-AC and SMICO105-AC, and the HD6135FB heat alarm.
