VESDA VSP-877 — flush-mount sampling point for Xtralis aspirating smoke detection pipe networks.
It replaces the conical sampling point where a capillary run has to terminate in a finished ceiling. A snap-fit fascia hides two locking screws that draw a pair of wing-locks against the back of the panel, so the fitting goes in entirely from below — the reason it gets specified on fixed ceilings with no void access. Wing-lock height adjusts to panel thickness, the fascia lifts off for cleaning, and the moulding carries the DO NOT PAINT text required by code.

- 2 mm (5/64") pilot sampling hole, drillable to 5 mm (13/64") per ASPIRE calculations; tapered to resist clogging
- Body 92 × 54 mm (3.7" × 2.13"); ceiling cutout 32–35 mm; 1/2" NPT thread
- Standard colour white 80258; RoHS/REACH compliant
- Xtralis publishes no per-box quantity for it, unlike the couplings, elbows and tees beside it in the same ordering table
VSP-877-B and VSP-877-G are the same point in black and grey; VSP-878 is the 1/2" push-in connect adaptor kit, not a sampling point; PIP-015 and VSP-610-US are different items.
