Thermotech 302-EPM-135 135°F Rate-Anticipation Heat Detector, 40' 40' UL, Explosion-Proof Mounting
The Thermotech 302-EPM-135 is a 135°F rate compensation heat detector built for explosion-proof mounting in hazardous locations (Division 1, Class I Groups C and D; Class II Groups E, F and G). It has a hexagonal-grip bushing with 1/2 in conduit threads that screws into the threaded hub cover of a Killark JL-series fixture fitting or equal, which is not included; it must be hand tightened only and is for interior use. Like the rest of the 302 series it is a normally open, self-restoring device that closes at its rated temperature and slightly earlier under a rapid temperature rise.
