Thermotech 302-135 — 135°F rate compensation heat detector for interior vertical mounting, Potter ordering number 1430475.
Rate compensation is the third class of heat detector, distinct from fixed temperature and rate of rise. A high-expansion shell encases slower insulated struts, so a rapid rise lengthens the shell before the struts heat through and the contacts close below the rating, cancelling thermal lag.
- Rated 135°F, normally open contacts, self-restoring below the rating
- Rated 6–125 VAC at 5 A, 6–25 VDC at 1 A and 125 VDC at 0.5 A
- UL smooth-ceiling spacing of 50 × 50 ft on 8 to 10 ft ceilings
- Not directionally affected; mounts horizontally or vertically
- Terminal screw connections for interior use, with no special back box
- Shock and corrosion resistant, tamper-proof, UL listed and FM approved
302-194 is the same detector rated 194°F. 302-ET-135 adds a hex bushing with 1/2 in. conduit threads and all-weather sealing, 302-AW-135 is all-weather without the bushing, and 302-EPM-135 is explosion-proof. The AP-P plate fits the 302, 302ET and 302AW only.
