SRLED — System Sensor L-Series with LED indoor selectable-output strobe, wall mount, red housing with "FIRE" marking. It is a strobe-only appliance: there is no horn and no tone or volume switch. It replaces the xenon SRL.
The L-Series with LED platform uses LED lighting technology in place of older xenon bulbs, which significantly lowers current draw across the full candela range. This improves design flexibility for notification appliance circuits (NACs) and reduces power supply requirements, allowing simpler and lower cost installations. All devices feature plug-in designs with minimal intrusion into the back box, making installations fast and foolproof while virtually eliminating costly and time-consuming ground faults.
To further simplify installation and protect devices from construction damage, the L-Series uses a universal mounting plate with an onboard shorting spring, so installers can test wiring continuity before the device is installed. Candela is set in the field with a rotary switch. L-Series with LED appliances also provide Digital Voltage Meter (DVM) diagnostic test points on the face of the device, so device voltage and end-of-line voltage checks can be measured without removing the appliance from the wall.

Installation notes
-
24 V only: L-Series with LED strobes and horn strobes are rated 16 to 33 V, 24 V nominal. The 8 to 17.5 V (12 V nominal) range in the L-Series family applies to horn-only models, not to this strobe.
-
Wall candela set: wall units use 15/30/75/95/110/135/185 cd. Ceiling units (SCRLED, SCWLED) use a different set — 15/30/75/95/115/150/177 cd. Do not apply ceiling candela values or ceiling current draw to a wall device.
-
Strobe only: the SRLED has no horn, so there is no dBA rating, tone selection or volume selection on this model. If the design calls for an audible, use a horn strobe such as the P2RLED.
-
DVM test points: diagnostic test points on the face allow device and end-of-line voltage checks with a digital voltage meter without removing the appliance.
-
Synchronization: achieved through UL approved power supplies that support the System Sensor Sync protocol, or through the System Sensor MDL3 Sync Module.
-
Retrofit: electrically compatible with legacy SpectrAlert, SpectrAlert Advance and L-Series devices.
