Simplex 733-945 — standby battery harness kit for the Simplex 4010 fire alarm control panel.
The 4010 lands its two 12 V standby batteries on TB8 in the lower left corner of the SFI/O board, and Simplex specifies this harness for that connection. Technicians order it when the original has been cut, corroded at the lugs, or lost during a battery change.
- Specified in the 4010 installation instructions to connect the standby batteries to TB8 on the SFI/O
- Red lead to the positive side of TB8, black to the negative; Fast-on connectors on the battery ends
- Includes a short white jumper crimped at both ends, used to series-link the positive of one battery to the negative of the other
- Also called out for battery connection when a 4010 expansion power supply is installed
- The base 4010 panel accommodates and charges batteries up to 25 Ah
733-945 is the domestic harness; Canadian 4010 systems are wired with 733-903 instead, so confirm which the panel was built with before ordering.
