Simplex 4906-5205 is the indoor red MX Technology addressable sounder-beacon, supplied with a matching surface mount box that has a tamper resistant latch (release tool supplied). It is powered from the MX Loop with an internal isolator, so no separate supply is needed, and it is listed to UL 464 for general signaling. It works with 4100ES and 4010ES panels fitted with an MX Loop Module.

Compatibility and installation notes
- To segregate general signaling sounders from fire alarm devices, wiring into and out of the sounder-beacon must pass through a 4098-5215, 4098-5212 or 4098-5260 MX Loop sensor base, or a 4090-5206 line isolator.
- Address and beacon flash rate are set with the MX 850EMT Engineering Management Tool (516.850.900).
- Sounder-beacons on the same MX Loop are synchronized.
