Silent Knight SK-F485C — fiber to SBUS converter card for Silent Knight and Farenhyt addressable fire alarm control panels.
Used in pairs, the SK-F485C takes the panel SBUS off copper, onto fiber-optic cable and back again, so SBUS equipment such as a 5895XL power module can sit in another building without copper between buildings. It mounts on standoffs in a compatible panel or power supply cabinet, or in a 5815RMK remote mounting kit, which holds two. It is not for networking panels.

One link needs two SK-F485C cards. With the 5808, 5700 or 6700 the 5815RMK kit is required. Farenhyt IFP panels use the same SK-F485C.
