NOTIFIER NFS-320 — an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel in the ONYX® Series, with one isolated Signaling Line Circuit supporting up to 318 addressable devices.
ONYX Series products meet virtually every application requirement in stand-alone or network configurations. The NFS-320’s modular design makes system planning easier: the panel can be configured with just a few devices for small building applications, or networked with many devices to protect a large campus or a high-rise office block. Simply add additional peripheral equipment to suit the application. Wireless fire protection can be added with the SWIFT wireless gateway and devices.
For installations using NFS-320C, an optional ACM Series annunciator can be mounted in the same cabinet (up to 48 zones/points, ordered separately; see DN-60085). ONYX® Series panels integrate with the Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS) platform through the CLSS Gateway, providing connectivity to central station, cloud and mobile applications (see HON-62034).
Note: unless called out with a version-specific "R", "C" or "E" at the end of the part number, "NFS-320" refers to models NFS-320, NFS-320R, NFS-320C and NFS-320E.

Installation notes

6.0 A is a shared pool: the power supply has a total of 6.0 A of available power shared by all internal circuits. Four NACs rated 1.5 A each sum past that — use the current draw calculation sheet in the Installation Manual rather than adding circuit maximums.

Battery size drives the cabinet: the charger covers 18–200 AH, but batteries over 26 AH require a separate cabinet.

Line voltage is model-specific: the NFS-320 is a 120 VAC panel; the NFS-320E is the 220/240 VAC, 2.5 A version.

Seismic certification requires the kit: use SEISKIT-320/B26 for the panel; the BB-25 and NFS-LBB have their own kits (SEISKIT-BB25, SEISKIT-LBB).

Auxiliary and remote station service per NFPA 72 requires the TM-4; CENTRAL STATION service requires a DACT.

Marine approval is configuration-dependent: marine approved systems must be built from the components itemized in DN-7112, following installation document PN 54756. See DN-60688.

Recommended room conditions: although the panel meets NFPA requirements across its full range, battery and component life are best at a normal room temperature of 60–80°F (15–27°C).
