Notifier FSP-851T — intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke detector with a built-in 135 °F fixed temperature thermal element.
It is an addressable open-area detector head for Notifier Onyx and CLIP series panels, reporting over a two-wire signalling line circuit. What separates it from the plain FSP-851 is a pair of electronic thermistors adding fixed temperature heat sensing to the photoelectric chamber.
- Fixed temperature setpoint 135 °F (57 °C); sensitivity 0.5 to 2.35 percent per foot
- Operating range 32 to 100 °F (0 to 38 °C), narrower than the plain FSP-851
- Low temperature signal at 45 °F plus or minus 10 °F
- 15 to 32 VDC peak; standby 300 µA at 24 VDC; LED current 6.5 mA maximum
- Rotary decimal addressing, 1 to 99 on CLIP and 1 to 159 on FlashScan
- UL listed S1115, FM approved, CSFM 7272-0028:0206, MEA 225-02-E
This is a plug-in head and Notifier requires one of its separate bases, ordered on their own: B210LP, B501, B200S, B200SR, B224RB or B224BI. FSP-851 is the same head without the thermal element, and FSP-851R is the remote test head for DNR and DNRW duct housings.
