Notifier FSP-851R — low-profile intelligent photoelectric smoke sensor, remote test capable, for DNR and DNRW duct detector housings.
This is the plug-in sensing element, not a finished duct detector. DN-6935:E calls the FSP-851R a remote test capable detector for DNR and DNRW duct housings, and housing sheet DN-60429:C2 says those housings require a photoelectric smoke detector, sold separately.
- Remote test from the panel; magnet-operated functional test switch
- FlashScan and CLIP compatible; addressing 1 to 99 CLIP, 1 to 159 FlashScan
- Sensitivity 0.5% to 2.35% per foot obscuration, set at the panel
- 15 to 32 volts DC peak; standby 300 µA at 24 VDC, LED current 6.5 mA
- In a DNR or DNRW, rated -4°F to 158°F; air velocity 0 to 4,000 ft/min
- UL listed S1115, FM approved, CSFM 7272-0028:0206
FSP-851 is the same sensor without remote test; FSP-851T adds a 135°F thermal element; FSP-851RA is the ULC version. Housing, sampling tube and remote test station are separate purchases, and a DNR or DNRW with a date code of 0012 or earlier needs a DCOIL and auxiliary 24 VDC before remote testing works.
