Macurco CM-E1/GD-2B — round rear base housing that lets a round-format detector surface mount to a wall or ceiling.
Macurco builds the CM-E1 carbon monoxide monitor in a rectangle case and in a round case. The rectangle arrives with its rear housing attached; the round one does not, and the user instructions state that the round base is sold separately. That is this part. The slash marks it as the shared accessory for the CM-E1 and GD-2B round detectors, not two items packed together.
- Converts a round flush detector to surface mount on a wall or ceiling
- Round surface assembly measures 6-1/4" × 1-3/4" with the base fitted
- Round flush detector without the base measures 5-1/2" × 1/2"
- Field wiring is routed through the access area on the base of the rear housing
- Mechanical accessory only — no sensor, relay or electrical rating
- Not needed for flush work, where a supplied mid-plate mounts the detector to a 2 × 4 in. box
Do not order it for a rectangle CM-E1 or GD-2B, which already includes a rear housing, and do not confuse it with the CM-E1-IAK adapter kit for replacing earlier Macurco models.
