Kidde WG4RF-S — Genesis WG4 Series outdoor rated speaker, red housing with FIRE marking, speaker only.
The WG4 Series is built for wet and harsh locations such as parking garages and process areas, sealed to its backplane by a full gasket so it can mount to recessed or surface boxes outdoors. WG4RF-S is the speaker only model and carries no strobe, so it belongs where visible notification comes from a separate appliance. Wattage and voltage are set in the field.
- Field-selectable 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 watt taps, switch positions Z, Y, X and T
- 25 VRMS or 70 VRMS switch selectable, 70 VRMS default; supervisory voltage 30 V maximum
- 80.8, 84.0, 87.1 and 90.0 dBA across those four taps on 25 V, at 10 ft in a reverberant room per UL 1480
- Speaker response 400 to 4,000 Hz
- Wet rated, -31 to 151 °F (-35 to 66 °C), 0 to 95% relative humidity noncondensing
- Room side wiring, 12 to 18 AWG; ship weight 1.5 lb (0.68 kg)
WG4WF-S is the white version and WG4RN-S carries no marking; WG4RF-SVMC and WG4RF-SVMHC add strobes. The WG4 outdoor horns are a different datasheet with a wider low temperature rating.
