Gamewell-FCI RPT-E3-UTP — ARCNET network repeater module that lets remote E3 Series® and S3 Series sub-assemblies join the Broadband network over unshielded twisted-pair copper wire.
The RPT-E3 is an optional component of the E3 Series and S3 Series fire alarm control panels and serves as the network communication circuit used with the E3 Series system. It connects remote ILI-MB-E3 / ILI95-E3 Series boards, the S3 Series SLP (Smart Loop Panel) main board, ANX-SR / ANX-MR-UTP / ANX-MR-FO node expanders and NGA modules into the network, in Class B or Class X configurations, at 625K baud. It also provides valuable signal boosting and transient protection on long runs. The standard product is a twisted-pair copper sub-assembly; fiber-optic connectivity is added with plug-in modules. The module is adaptable for installation in standard E3 Series and S3 Series cabinets and typically mounts on standoffs at the top right of the ILI-MB-E3 / ILI95-MB-E3 / ANX modules or the SLP motherboard.

Installation notes

Fiber modules are add-ons: the RPT-E3-UTP ships as the twisted-pair repeater. Fiber runs require the FML-E3 (multi-mode) or FSL-E3 (single-mode) module, each covering one channel — order the fiber module with the repeater.

Node distance: 3,000 ft. (914.4 m) maximum between nodes on 16–18 AWG unshielded twisted pair; go to fiber beyond that, within the 8 dB (multi-mode) or 30 dB (single-mode) loss budget.

Mounting position: typically mounted on standoffs on the top of the right side of the ILI-MB-E3 / ILI95-MB-E3 / ANX modules and the SLP motherboard, inside standard E3 or S3 Series cabinets.
