Fire-Lite MS-10UD-7 is a ten-zone conventional fire alarm control panel with a built-in digital alarm communicator/transmitter (DACT). It is supplied with the FLPS-7 power supply, which provides 7.0 amps total 24 VDC output current.
The MS-10UD combination control and communicator panel protects small to medium sized commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. It works with System Sensor i3 conventional smoke detectors, which send a maintenance trouble signal when cleaning is needed and a supervisory freeze signal below approximately 45°F, and with conventional input devices such as two-wire and four-wire smoke detectors, pull stations, waterflow devices and tamper switches.
Outputs include four NACs, three programmable Form-C relays (factory set for alarm, trouble and supervisory) and 24 VDC special application resettable and nonresettable power. The panel supervises all wiring, AC voltage, battery level and telephone line integrity. The integral DACT reports to a central station over the public switched telephone network, supports remote programming with the PS-Tools upload/download utility, and can be programmed locally through the USB port.

Installation notes

Class A is not standard: IDCs are Style B and NACs are Style Y. Class A operation needs the optional CAC-5X Class A Converter Module.

Size the whole panel: each NAC is rated 3.0 amps special application, but the FLPS-7 supplies 7.0 amps total alarm current per panel, so four circuits cannot all carry 3.0 A at once.

Battery sizing: batteries larger than two 18 Amp Hour units need a separate battery box such as the BB-26 or BB-55F with a CHG-75 or CHG-120F charger.

Annunciation: the ANN-BUS connects the ANN-80, ANN-I/O, ANN-S/PG, ANN-RLY and ANN-LED modules.
